Hydro Relocation Work March 8 - May 19

To support the increase in GO Service, Metrolinx is working with Burlington Hydro to relocate overhead hydro wires underground. The location of the work is West of Cumberland at Fairview (along the back of the Popeye's Supplements plaza - 3235 Fairview).

The work is expected to take place Monday to Friday between 7 am and 5 pm and on some weekends. Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect: There will be moderate noise vibration and dust; Crews will be using Excavator, dump trucks, and delivery trucks; Work areas will be safely delineated.

Traffic and Pedestrians Details: Increased construction vehicles and equipment can be expected in the work area. Pedestrians will not be impacted at this time. Please exercise caution around active construction sites. Access to driveways will be always maintained.
